Perhaps growing up watching Harry Potter and pretending to be Hermione Granger inspired me to see places by train. As luck would have it, I was given a chance to ride one when I went to Prachuap Khiri Khan, just without the Platform 3/4 though.
It was on our last day when we decided on how to go back to the city. Options were: minivan, bus, or train. And we chose the latter.
After throwing our last glimpse on the beach and taking some photos, we packed our bags and went to the train station. Ticket varies depending on the train type. We wanted to try the Special Express but we ended up taking the ordinary hence, the 6 hour journey. However, we only paid 56 THB. Imagine that! So cheap!

It was tiring and exhausting but the view on the country side is priceless. I was totally in awe!
Perhaps this railway was far from the Harry Potter scene, but the experience it brought me was already enough. The scenic route I took was all that matters – absolutely a treasure.
From the tip of my wand to yours, farewell.
